千葉縣 Chiba: Tokyo Disneyland 25th Anniversary!

Date: Tuesday, 15th April 2008 (Whole Day) - Day 5

Weather: ~19˚C (daytime) / ~15˚C (night time)



Our program for today is to visit Tokyo Disneyland (located in Chiba 千葉縣, nearby Narita 成田 International Airport)!!! Coincidentally, it is their 25th Anniversary and on this very 1st day, they have door gifts, parkwide parade "JUBILATION!" and Disney cartoon characters' walkabout - to take photo with childrens, so it was really2 crowded!



We spent whole day at Disneyland. We played 4~5 games. I have taken many pictures. I have posted them at SLIDE.COM (appeared at the side of my blog page).... view at your own sweet time!



Noon time, we had our fast food lunch at Toon Town (picture above).

At 3:00 pm, we exited Disneyland and went shopping at Ikspiari Shopping Mall (walking distance from Disneyland). Along the way, we saw bicycle parking lot, Mickey's Bus and JR Maihama Subway Station (pictures above)....

There are many shoplots and restaurants inside Ikspiari and I brought Mom to eat 中华料理 (seafood noodles & siao loong pau) at Level 4 (3rd picture above). From the same place, I bought a 'Swiss Army' watch for Ivan (Sky), he is so happy!

At 6:30pm, all were gathered at the exit door (designated point) of Disneyland and left for dinner and hotel check-in (in Narita). Tonite, our dinner is shabu-shabu (Japanese steamboat - buffet style) - food is lousy! This restaurant is located above a mini market (is like NTUC in Singapore) and some of the group members bought Japanese instant noodle and local snacks here.... Well, that's the end of Day 5.
