SYNOPSIS

Because of a lost PDA, the lovely and childlike Ko Yat Sze (Niki Chow) is brought together with her Prince Charming back to her school days, a boy whom she had a crush on. Shum Long (Kevin Cheng) is the Prince Charming, who, after graduation from school, lost touch with Sze. Their encounter takes place in a shopping mall, which is designed like a canopy. The romance that started out but not yet accomplished in the old days continued.

Meanwhile, also under the canopy of love, Sze meets Kuen Lik (Bosco Wong), who happens to be the long lost son of Mr Yim, the rich owner of the mall. Sze believed that love outweighs bread and butter. However, Long will do anything to become rich. On the other hand, the simple and honest Lik reminds Sze of Shum Long in the good old days. So Sze and Shum long started dating. Then Karen Yip (Claire Yiu) comes in to the picture after Shum Long was promoted to a higher job post. Shum and Karen went on a business trip together to Singapore. During that trip, Karen had revealed that she liked Shum Long and that made a big misunderstanding between Sze and Shum, whom Sze thought was having an affair with Karen. With Shum Long gone after the breakup, Sze begin to date Lik.

They were going to get married, but Sze knew that she still loved Shum. After Sze received a VCD featuring Shum in an interview, she realised that Shum never had an affair with Karen. But Lik is not mad at Sze and Long because he knows that you can not force true love. And in the end, Shum and Sze got back together, but Lik is still their good friend.

Bosco Wong

Bosco plays a very funny character, who is devoted to his friends and family. He has a simple mind, and he is willing to sacrifice anything in order to make the others happy. Without him, the entire series will be empty. Bosco also delivers one of his best performances, especially in episode 20, I never thought that he would let Niki go. Bosco's crying scenes will break your heart entirely.

Kevin Cheng's Narrating

I think Kevin played this role very well - take things easily, patient! His role in this drama does reflected us on what we normally sees in reality - politics in the office, differences between rich and poverty, relationships between friends and office colleagues, Kevin & Niki's chemistry factor, the complicated work environment and bosses, and etc. These are the issues we normally faces in life. There are several scenes which I am quite touched by him - he patronized the shoplets and also Niki's shop till Niki closed it, he seated down and listened to Niki playing the violin and when he changed department, changed workstation with that kind of patient faces 忍 ^-^ It's very interesting to hear the narrating parts, which is kind of unique.

Niki Chow
Niki is incredibly beautiful and super adorable in this drama. Her acting is natural and charming. Her portrayal in Canopy was so genuine that you might have thought that's her real life character. She echoes the strory which is quite similar to me or my friends in younger age. Yes, we will admire some guys and then hoping that there is continuation.... When Niki and Kevin is in courting, she gradually loose security and confidence when she has a rivalry with Claire over Kevin !!! So, want to know what happen next?
