Synopsis

King Jeong-Jo is Joseon’s 22nd Monarch who is remembered in Korean history as one of Korea’s greatest Kings who loved the people and reigned for the commoner. Through the ups & downs and tuff teachings from his grandpa, he learnt things the hardest ways ~ bitter struggles and sorrow before he became the King. It's also a love story between him (Yi San) and Song Yeon (a paintist who he met when he was 11 years old) that cannot be separated....
