L&L: Personal Safety

I have attended a talk on Personal Safety during lunch today.

En Shah of Singapore Civil Defence Force (SCDF) was invited to do this talk to provide some key messages pertaining to safety both at home and at office. To give us simple tips to avoid or handle fires at home and also evacuation from office/buildings when on fire.

SCDF is a uniformed organisation under the purview of the Ministry of Home Affiars who provides fire fighting, rescue and emergency ambulance services, and regulates fire safety and civil defence shelter matters. During emergency, you can call 995.

If you call 1777 (for non-emergency ambulance services), S$70~80 will be charged upon using their services because they are private organisation (not related to Government) heee!
