"Handsome Suit"

Went to watch this movie yesterday evening @ GV Tiong Bahru with my friend....

Handsome Suit is a hilarious comedy about a physically unattractive guy who turns into a hunk whenever he wore the special suit.

Takuro (Muga Tsukaji) acted the ugly person, he works as a chef & owned a restaurant (inherited from his mother) and cooked good food. But, he falls in love with his part-time worker, Hiroko (Keiko Kitagawa) - a pretty lady.... anyway, Hiroko wasn't the first person (in the movie, it shows that he falls in love more than 100 times.... ka ka!).

As usual, he was rejected and he thought that it is due to his looks. One day, he met a salesman who introduces him the "handsome suit'. Thus, he begin his dual life as a chef and gorgeous model, Annin Hikariyama (Shosuke Tanihara). But, there's a side effect on the suit.....

The movie is funny throughout in depicting Takuro's adventures and experiences. You will find yourself laughing at his awkward transformation into a hunk and his bid to lead both lives.

If you were to look deeper into the movie's humour, you will most likely find yourself asking:-

Would you discard everything to pursue superficial perfection?

Is what is on the outside what ultimately counts?

So....it certainly has some refreshing twists in the plot to keep you guessing about Takuro's eventual decision whether to remain ugly or become handsome?

Watch this movie! Takuro may be ugly but Annin is definitely adorable :D
