L&L - Different But Not Enemies

Last Friday (17th Oct), there is a lunch talk in my office.

This time we engaged Ms Geraldine Tan who holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Psychology and Sociology (from National University of Singapore) and a Masters Degree in Applied Psychology (from Nanyang Technological University). She was trained in Choice & Reality Therapy. She spent 8 years counseling and working in a clinical setting. She administers psychological assessments, such as IQ and diagnostic tests for learning disabilities. Geraldine is a psychologist registered with the Singapore Register of Psychologists, and a full member of the Singapore Psychological Society.

She presented us an interactive workshop allowing us to understand the different personality types. In addition we will be given personality type questionnaires to explore our individual personality strengths and weaknesses. We will understand and appreciate co-workers and be able to contribute positively to better interpersonal relationships. The talk covers the following topics:-
  • Elements of personality types;
  • Individual differences and how we appreciate them;
  • How different types of personalities interact;
  • The intriguing nature and complexities of group dynamics & conflict management.

Other than personality tests, we had fun times doing the role-play exercises and discussions as well heeee.....
